For commercial roles such as industrial clerk, at least an intermediate school-leaving certificate is required. In addition, qualities like teamwork, commitment, and reliability are essential for success.
Our training programs usually start in August of each year and last two or three years, depending on the chosen profession, including vocational school instruction.
At Smithers-Oasis, trainees benefit from 30 days of vacation, vacation and Christmas bonuses, reimbursement of school book costs, targeted exam preparation, flexible working hours, and an international working environment—all with excellent chances of being hired permanently.
The working atmosphere is characterized by openness, appreciation, and flat hierarchies. We organize personal welcome sessions and mentoring programs with experienced colleagues.
Each trainee receives direct support from the responsible trainer, including a team for warehouse logistics, industrial mechanics, and commercial professions. Close communication takes place directly on an equal footing. The permanent contact person not only provides trainees with technical support, but also offers advice on personal matters. Older trainees also help new colleagues get to know their surroundings.
Interested candidates should apply by email, usually with a cover letter, resume, and their last two school reports. You will receive a response within a few days. Ideally, we will invite you to an interview at our headquarters in Grünstadt so that you can get to know our company and the trainers.
